Video artist and space producer 'michi' was born in 1974 and lives in London (Oct.2005 - Sep. 2006) and Tokyo. He studied in Musashino Art University in Tokyo. (1994-1999)
In 2001, he organized a event named 'ku-ki', and the theme was 'collaboration'. Also michi participated some evens as a video-visual artist and VJ. Then he started his carrier as space artist doing collaboration with many other type of artists, for example, Media artists, Sculptors, Dancers, Musicians, Calligraphers, and Photographers, with his video and the projection. He usually collaborate with musicians and dancers. There are some sensational performances with his new style of visual and space works. 'sound+dance+visual' vol.4 and vol.5 (presented by project suara) is one of much note.
27, Aug. 2005, michi organized a new event named 'conscious' at SPIRAL HALL (Aoyama/Tokyo) as a producer and a space artist with his video works.
His projection is not only on the screens but in the whole space, with many projectors. That makes huge, fantastic and artistic world. He projects his video works in clubs, cafe´s, halls, galleries, on exterior walls of the buildings and sometimes on the trees in the forest, With his works, it looks the spaces begin to breath and talk to peoples' senses directly.
